Attorney Tameko Greene Purnell focuses on personal injuries as a result of car accidents, slip and falls and on the job injuries. She also handles medical malpractice and nursing home neglect.

Tameko has been distinctly recognized by The National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40, Mississippi Women Who’s Who, and Citeblue as one of Mississippi’s most accomplished female lawyers.

An honor student and Dean Ambassador at The Mississippi College School of Law, Tameko clerked for The Mississippi Attorney General’s Office, The Mississippi American Civil Liberties Union, and the City of Memphis where she was instrumental in challenging the confederate soldier statues within public parks in Memphis, Tennessee. Tameko has also studied international business and contract law in China, South Korea, and Lille, France. Prior to joining the firm, Tameko acted as Associate Attorney at one of Memphis’ most prominent firms where she played a pertinent part in obtaining millions of dollars for injured clients.

Prior to becoming an attorney, Tameko worked as a litigation paralegal for several prominent firms in Memphis, drafting complex litigation motions and preparing for commercial trials.

Attorney Purnell is licensed to practice in the State of Mississippi and is a member of the Mississippi Association for Justice, where she currently serves as Chair of the Women’s Caucus; The Mississippi Bar; and The National Bar Association.
She is the mother of 2 beautiful daughters and loves to spend her time with her daughters and relaxing by the water.
